I really hate how serious some of the things become on the .org

in the end this is just a fan site. a community forum board with people who donate money to use server space to host AMVs.

it just seems so political sometimes, and that some things can't be taken lightly or in jest.

I used to post all the time on this site, but now, I rarely view maybe 2-3 sections...

I find it more fun to make amvs and show them to my general friends rather than post and discuss them on this site.
You took the words right out of my mouth Knives.

...I think it's safe to say that a lot of those who've originally arrived here as OTers feel that way.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Ditto. This is almost like "1984", where you can't relax and happy things are frowned upon.

Most of my posts are still here. And if they aren't, well, toss that onto the pile of grievances, too.

x2

It seems ever time I go off on some quasi-elitist rant about people griping about software that isn't legit to begin with my post gets deleted.
I just never understood how people that can afford DVDs (supposedly) are so proud to choose NOT to buy a simple copy of Ulead/magix/vegas/etc.

It hurts the feelings of the 12 and 14 year olds who can't buy legitimate software, and who can't shut up about the shit they warez.

Somehow, though, they can afford PS2 games and DVDs, like you said.

Then you keep quiet about it. Or avoid stating outright that you have illegitimate stuff - keep a sham up, for everyone's sake.

Don't ask, don't tell.

Four. Quattro. I need to buy one of those razors.
