Le Portait de Petite Cossette. It's one of the best shows that I've seen that fall in the horror genras.

you mean before it got repetitious and dragging and... well, that would've been about 2 years ago, now, wouldn't it've?

Just spent an evening at my son's home, watched some of his latest recomended anime.

Full Metal Panic Fumoffu: His description of the series "the Galaxy Angel version of FMP". Well, with no deep plot in the background and each episode a stand alone bit of crazyness, he is about right. I saw the first two dvds and was getting sore from laughing at the totally clueless antics of Sgt. Sagura. The only thing missing was the lovely Captain Tesstarossa, I guess they make up for it in the next disc.

Gunslinger Girl: There is something so sick and wrong about 11 year old girls turned into cyborg assassins. This story is so compelling, the interaction of the handlers and the girls. One Question, are the girls better off than they would have been? How can such cute and seemingly innocent children one minute be consienceless killers the next? This is a great story of huge contrasts, prepare to have your heart torn out.
Where did you say I'm going?.... And what am I doing in a handbasket?

I was watching Inuyasha, but then AS took it off their Saturday line up. I know a lot of people think it's gotten repetative and drawn out, but I just like seeing my favorite characters continue to expand and grow, even if it is slowly. (Hey, *real* people don't change overnight either.)

At least I can still watch FMA. :)
I am a rabid Inuyasha fangirl! Fear me!

Got to finish the two I started and another.

Full Metal Panic, Fumoffu: It finishes just as crazy as it began. The rugby team episode is my favorite. The last episode is wild. Sagura gets a biological weapon by accident, and of course it infects his whole class. Is it the end for them all? There is only enough antidote for one person.

Gunslinger Girl: Maybe it's just the old man in me, but the last few episodes of this anime are heartrending. Again it is huge contrasts between the relations of the different fratellos (girl-handler group) and in the end between joy and sadness. I think this is a great emotional anime.

Midori Days: When I heard the premmis of this anime I thought it couldn't be any good. My son told me I would like it so we watched it. I was wrong, it's a very humorous, interesting little romantic anime. I guess I started to enjoy the humor early on when Seiji said that, in seventeen and a half years, the only girlfriend he had was his right hand. Then the next day he woke up to find the one girl that has a crush on him, entirely to close. I couldn't stop watching till I found out how it ended. It's a lot of fun.

Gungrave, I was told that Brendon (Main Char) is similar to Alucard (Hellsing), after watching the first dvd I can see similarities yet I can see major differences.. Im glad I was told that, I'm quite enjoying this anime with its share of blood that I always enjoy. Might make an amv out of this after I finish with it.
