Long overdue because misc problems with net, server, etc but now it's time to open this project.

First, we, AT, did ArcticTribe xmas hell last christmas. You should check it out.

Rules are simple. Almost anything goes. You choose if it will be "nice" enough to put local at here or not. Idea has to relate somehow to christmas. Nice or twisted.

For the material. Clip lenght(s) should be about 5-20sec. Depending of course of the consept that you have. Video should be but not enforced, 720x480 and 24 fps. For the codecs, audio have to be uncompressed or HQ mp3. (ie. 256+kbps) Huffyuv or Lagarith is preferred video codec. But considering the size, i can accept mpeg-2, mpeg-1 (quality!!!) or even xvid/divx 3000+ kbps. I refuse to start playing with wmv in the final coding of this...

Once you have a consept or two ready in mind, e-mail me about it so i can check it and cataloque it. After clip(s) is (are) ready, e-mail again and you'll get the ftp passes to upload it.

Have to start clipping Popotan to make few friends "enjoy" the video

Hopefully this video will work out better than the last one(not that it was bad but could have been better

About that segment. Can't play it and g-spot says it's not an avi. Virtualdub doesn't open it. Propably something has went wrong in the upload?

I should probably state what idea i used before some decided to also use it when it's already been accepted for the project. (I was able to get it to Venomi)

I hope I didn't just ruin anyones plan for an idea for this project by not letting you know the song was taken already. If I did, you can feel free to scream at me. The are several other comedic christmas songs of this nature by the Arrogant Worms that would make good alternatives.

It isn't December yet, but the progress of this MEP has so far been slow, though steady. We're hoping to pick up the pace once christmas draws closer.

Don't you be thinking this project is dead or anything. We'd just like some more early participants, because the more the merrier, right?

Well I wont have the time but if someone has heard the song before... Kevin Bloody Wilson -- Hey Santa Claus You C*nt, is a damn funny song. Would work well with lots of anime's, just my 2c.

Small update: I believe the deadline will be a week or so before christmas, so it won't become a hectic race to the finish, like it happened last year I hear.

And yes, we are aware of an another christmas-MEP going on, but that one will take a more traditional approach. Our's will focus more on comedy.
