any suggestions [for fighting shows]?

Post by blade_komoto » Thu Dec 01, 2005 8:47 pm

i want to watch an anime that is a fighting-type one. with swords and knives any all that. awsome fighting scenes and the works. but i havent seen any other then inuyasha and thats a bit too bad for me. i have been looking at knight hunters and might get that but was wondering if there were any others.
There's an experience worse than blindness--it's the certainty that your vision is perfect and the horror that there is no world around you to see.

GunGrave has lotsa shooting- AND plot/character development!
Be non-conformist! (Everyone's doing it!)
I guess Max Payne isn't much of a yaoi fan...

Samurai X, The first two ova's are great. The rest of the Kenshin series is good too.
Where did you say I'm going?.... And what am I doing in a handbasket?

I don't know about Knight Hunters, I've heard it's nothing but a bunch of angsty pretty boys who work in a flower shop.

Samurai Champloo has a lot of sword fighting and cool fight scenes, heck it even has cool painting scenes.

And Berserk of course, before KingSchwill says it.

Cowboy Bebop manages to pull off the gun/sword fights rather amazingly.

If you want guns, try Noir, nice sexy girls in short skirts in great gunfights.

Tenjo Tenge. It has girls with HUGE boobs and great fight scenes. Not to mention a healthy sprinkle of fanservice.

No. Stay the f**k away from Tenjou Tenge. It makes no sense at all. It has NO ENDING.

The fanservice is not worth it (what's so entertaining about HUGE breasts?). No one cares about the new characters anyway, since the whole 2nd half is one long drawn-out flashback. Which makes no sense.

People do get beaten into bloody pulps and/or die very messily, if you want to count that as a plus.
