Among my worest would be Love hina, couldnt even watch it in english. Ranma 1/2 ranma was horrible but you get used to it after a while, and amazing nurse nanak is pretty bad in eather language

If I could say one I'd half to say Ai-yori-Aoshi. I was just screaming "what the hell's this" a couple of times when first heard the dub.

ok, well I don't know how many of you out there are from the UK, but new releases of Dragonball Z movies and episodes have come out with different dubbing to FUNimation.....and my god, 'terrible' is too light a word. This was obviously done by people who had no clue about, well, anything! People who arent familiar with DBZ probably won't know what I'm going on about, but to the people that do:
Piccolo's name was changed to.....Big Green. WTF is that about!?
Krillin was presumed a kid, therefore given a child's voice.
The voice acting in general was just really bad, names were pronounced wrongly, some sentences didn't even make sense.
But the worst thing of all - Goku's voice. Aaarrgh, makes me shudder to think about. Never have I heard such a manly, self-rightious, Captain America, big, bold abomination. You couldn't get any further from what Goku's character is defined by.

Anyway, I've had my little rant. Needed to let it out somewhere
It was quite funny to watch, but seriously, lines have to be drawn.

don't forget magic beans and were the dragonballs called the cystal balls oh and gohans voice

man they were bad. oh and why did everyone have the same voice???

Angel Sanctuary. They killed Setsuna's, Rosiel's, Alexiel's, Kato's, and Katan's voices. Not to mention they had terrible english scripts. I'd never seen the anime and I was reading the manga when I rented the DVD at Blockbuster. That night when I sat down to watch it I couldn't even say anything. All I did was stare at the screen in total disgust. They ruined a beautiful work of Kaori Yuki's and I think the dubbing company should be ashamed.

For the most part I've been hard pressed to find a dub that, to me at least, is so bad that I cannot watch it in English at all. But there are a few that are definitely in the back of my book.

These are: One Piece, mainly because of Sanji; he's supposed to be a suave, skirt-chaser, not a Brooklyn gangster with a congested sinus. And the Rurouni Kenshin OAVs and the movie (the ones that were done by ADV and not Media Blasters), and it's not because I found the voices to be particularly bad or miscast, it's more that the actors struggled to find their characters so their performances were lacking.

Actually, I thought it was quite good, and if you watch it in English with the subs on it's almost word for word the same dialogue.

I LOVE Revolutionary Girl Utena, but I loath the dub.... and if you don't think that there are some aweful dubs out there you must have a number of nerves disconnected in your brain.
