It's hard to explain the differences I feel in words between normal/average shounens and Bleach. Bleach is one of the very few shounens where you can tell me the plot that's gonna happen and can still surprise me when I watch it, in both action and in detailed stories. Kinda similar to Naruto. People tell me "Gaara this, Itachi that" but I know everything is not going to go how I imagine it when I watch it.

When I heard about what happens in DBZ, it just happened. I watched the show and was like "yawn, some dumbass told me this already when I kept telling him/her to shut up and it's the same thing." Bleach and Naruto go into the stories so much that it's nearly impossible for someone to explain a series of 10 episodes with full detail within an hour. I can explain a series of 30 episodes of DBZ within an hour though.

I'd almost given up on the series until the new developement with Aizen in episode 60(?).

His power is awesome too, yet from what he said, Ichigo and his group will not be affected by his power, thus meaning we'll get to see the other forms of his soul slayer. Interesting way to do thigs, I think.
There may be hope for the series yet.

I must ask - have there been any good Hitsugaya moments since episode 48? I'm really not interested in any of the other characters, but now that I've read that spoiler, I'm curious :P

As a matter of fact, it's Hitsugaya who's the first person to figure out who's behind everything. Yes, there's an especially important Hitsugaya moment in episode 60, I would recommend watching it. I'd dare to say that it's been one of the best episodes in the series thusfar.

Took out his actual bankai last week. That shit kicked ass, also proved that the flying ice dragon attack he did against Gin was only his Shikai.

I personally think that Bleach is a good action oriented show. I think it's a lot more well thought out than Naruto or DBZ, so I give it a big thumbs up. I would definitely say that it's going to have just as big an influx of stupid and poorly made AMVS (That's already begun), but there are sure to be some great ones, too.

I'm trying to make as many AMV's of it before the point people start automatically giving 8's for originality.
