Hey, I remember them. I had to credit Super5 in my three DBGT videos on account of their watermark up in the top corner. I pulled the files off Kazaa a couple of years ago, so I'm guessing it was after FUNi shut 'um down.Castor Troy wrote:FUNi has been giving roundhouse kicks to subbers ever since super5 was hosting full dbz eps in the late 90's...

Saying what you just said is like running through A-kon wearing a T-shirt that says "Anime Sucks". Try not to provoke people, kay?RamonesFan2020204 wrote:Yeah, way to go FUNi!!!!!! Show 'em who's boss!
As for the topic at hand.. I really think that funimation needs to stop liscensing all of the good animes. Look what they did to naruto for crying out loud. Now we're probably going to see Trinity blood playing on toonami in the next few years at a Y-Tv rating.....

We've been over this...Funi doesn't have Naruto.
It belongs to ShoPro, which is connected with Viz.
...and, again, guys, ease up on Funi.
They're giving bilingual DVDs, so it's not like they're forcing you to endure the dub...and Hell, their dubs of late have actually been pretty good...
Let's face it...the times, they are a-changing...Funi's no longer the western anime whipping boy...
...4Kids now has THAT honor

I've come to like Funimation. They did a great job with Yu Yu Hakusho and Fullmetal Alchemist, and even though I didn't care for the dubbing in Fruits Basket, I like how the DVD's were released. I'm really glad they're doing Trinity Blood and Tsubasa, rather than Bandai or Media Blasters.
I'm actually hoping either FUNi or ADV will license Hunter x Hunter someday
