Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Not necessarily true. I had the newest VLC and it kept crashing, I couldn't get the video to play until I formatted.

No, I didn't format just for you, Pwhore, I was going to anyway.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble with this. Yes, I have got the latest version of VLC. It still plays up even when I have as little as possible running on the computer, and while it plays the action bits and the fast bits okay there are some bits that should play okay but just don't.

0.20 -- Vampire Hunter D section of opening
1.02 -- The fade there
2.44 -- As soon as the guy starts swinging into the screen, the screen freezes until Alucard starts drawing his guns. What the heck were you doing there that's breaking my processor's back? :?
~3.19-3.21 -- Freezes up at several different points

All Vampire Hunter D footage, which I find kind of weird. Anyone else find this? And it's not that my processor is crap -- the only two videos I've ever downloaded that give it hiccups are Bote's Trippy 3D Trip and Sir Lagsalot's Cloud Connected Berserk vid, and even they're fine on the second attempt.

So I guess it's review time then... Well, it's beautifully put together and the scenes match the flow of the music perfectly, but is there something about this vid that I'm just not getting? It's grown on me now because it's so damned stylish, but the first time through all I was thinking was 'you know what she/ he/ that reminds me of...?' It didn't really grab me.

I did download the newest one, Pwolf - before I posted in this thread. It crashed that one, too, like Ileia-chan said. And then I couldn't play ANY other videos with it. So I uninstalled that one and put my old player in again. I'd like to watch your video, but .mkv is a wacked format, dude. Are subtitles really that important?
