How do you think I feel? I hate Linkin Park with a passion, same with Evanesence.
If you want a change of pace, try this link:

You won't find any Linkin Park there. I suggest checking out both lists and taking chances on bands. Even if you don't like death metal and stuff, oftentimes you come across stuff that is far from death metal.

Just to contradict your whole "the theme doesn't fit", this is a really solid Samurai Champloo AMV made with a song that's basically four guys on cellos. It's a pretty good piece.

Well, my first (and only... so far! ) AMV is an "Ah! My Goddess" + "They Might Be Giants" AMV, using the song Ana Ng (which I've never seen used in an AMV before). I like originality. http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=97007 in case anyone's interested. lol

Good for you, but what does that have to do with the thread's topic...greydaze3 wrote:Well, my first (and only... so far! ) AMV is an "Ah! I'll remind you what the OP said, and maybe that'll be a little more clear for ya.Pie Row Maniac wrote:Good for you, but what does that have to do with the thread's topic...greydaze3 wrote:Well, my first (and only... so far! ) AMV is an "Ah! I love linkin park, I have no problem with them but my god, can people be a little bit more original and use some new songs?

As on the subject of doing something original. I made 2 AMVs with bands that have never before been used in AMVs here.
One of them is Gaia's sin (strangely enough in Tono's list, since i consider it my worst amv) and still the only Probot AMV that i know of, the other is Rising to FLCL, and to my knowledge also the only AMV here that uses Stuck Mojo.
It's a shame that these bands get so little love here, because they make great songs that can really be put to good use.
Anthrax is another widely underused band (also going to change that a bit).
Yeah, the populair bands and music get all the attention and some really great bands get so little, and that while there is so much great music there.

It's not my list. It's Kai Stromler's, it's just hosted on my serverUndertow wrote:As on the subject of doing something original. I made 2 AMVs with bands that have never before been used in AMVs here.

Some of Kai's choices for the list aren't even what one could call "good", but I think there's something he goes by on it. His bubble list is also a good resource.
