what type of ideas and iteams do you love about japan, besides the anime? i love that its always so peaceful in the smaller towns, with the cherry blossoms and all ...

You mean just like every other bloody cliche'd smaller town on earth? I live in a small town. Its quiet and peacfull yet I've got two large shoping centers 15 minutes away from my place. I can get to the city in half an hour by train. Small little country type towns that exist an hour from any form of civilisation arent peacefull, they're boring.

Hah, that reminds me of Sasebo, Japan. Personally I liked it. It's got a huge shopping center there as well but the funny thing is it's got like 4-5 arcades in a 1 mile radius.
