Otakon 2006 AMV contest

Post by kisaragi » Tue Dec 27, 2005 10:53 am

Hello hello! Happy Holidays one and all!!
It's your old friend J. Antonio Jimenez here :D.
2006 is only a few days away so I want
to let those of you who are interested
in submitting a video to Otakon for the up
coming contest that the dead line I'm setting is
Wednesday, May 17, 2006. I'll be posting the
rules soon, but as of now, they will be the
same as last year. The length of the video's
file/tape formats, and submission requirements
and address are going to be the same.
So start working on those ideas and
Keep tuned for more details about the contest.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to testify to the fact that Antonio here put together some pretty freakin' sweet prize packages for last year; perhaps that will give people some incentive to submit. ^_^

But it would be nice to get vote percentages for the winners and runners-up this year when the results are announced.

Also, I really hope whatever issues presented themselves at last year's prescreenings that resulted in the finalists not being announced until a week or so before the con don't repeat themselves.

As long as he's the guy who communicates and keep us update, then I'll even submite this year...

Frankly I'd prefer the coordinator himself to do that
