I wonder if you are allowed to do anything like remix those audio clips into something somewhat original... Anime Network would still own the original rights to the audio, since it would be considered a derived work. The hairy part is that you now have some small rights to it as well.

They said you could remix it. It's somewhere in the rights; I remember reading it and going, "Hey, that's cool".

I got something done, but I couldn't get their upload page to work.

I mailed it.

I got something done. The first time I went to upload it, it failed (and I got a page saying so). The second time I just got a blank page that said 'Done.' in the menu bar at the bottom. Hopefully they send some form of confirmation, but I'm not holding my breath. I don't want to try it again because it says they'll ignore one that were uploaded more than once.

Oh, well. Mine isn't that good anyway. :P

Pffft, I tried uploading mine a couple dozen times but too no luck. However this afternoon I received an e-mail asking me to e-mail in my entry.

I sent in an entry via snail mail.

I used the anime from their own site DLing the sample clips.

Did anyone ever see what the 100 dvds will be? Your choice? Or is it 100 old narutos?

I ended up using the footage I shot from Anime Expo 2000. Its mostly shots of the dealers room and some cosplayers. I think it looks more like a commerical for AX than Anime Network though.

AX 2000 looks like a tiny convention compared to the size of AX 2005. :)

If I remember correctly, the site said the 100 DVDs will at least include the latest release of the Eva boxed set. But I didn't see any other titles mentioned.
