Do you submit every AMV you make?

Just kidding. I do have a couple or three that are just video game movies (DOA girls). Oh, and one from Asheron's Call that is not linked since it isn't really anime at all!

I believe the generic term is just "Fanvids"

For the most part yeah if i feel like it can survive the scrutiney of the a-m-v.org viewers. If it's a practice video that would be considered "below average" i skip it, my ratings get hurt enough as is lol.

I did, because the tickybox says you have to in order to vote for the VCAs, and I

a) wanted to vote in the VCAs
b) did not want to be lying scum

...so I did. And for the forseeable future I will. No reason not to, thus far. Obsessing over one's Spotless AMV Record is a little silly.

I had considered it once, thinking about making an AMV from a fan-made remix, which would necessitate asking for permission in my own messed-up sense of fandom politeness (I'd get rejected, and probably get the whistle blown on the org... or I'd not ask at all, make the video and not list it, which is what I had in mind)

...but I decided not to make it at all, because of that. Why not? It's what the org is for. Don't have to put it up for download, after all.

I was gonna say I never submit stuff I do for MEPs, theyre all like less than 30 seconds long it's pointless

and wow you guys make THAT many amvs that you need to decide whether to submit it or not? LOL I have like other hobbies (like drawing fanarts haha....) so I don't even make that many...I make one like once every 1 or 2 months ^^;

I have other hobbies, in fact i have WORK (a forbidden word around my house since everyone here is a lazy bum) and i make amvs to get out frustration and when i get an idea in my head i usually cant get it out until i start on an amv to get rid of it. only thing is since duenans ordeal, i havent had the time to finish what i start.
