Feelings about Bobobo-bobo-bo,Cromartie,FLCL, etc.

For those who liked FLCL (and are old enough to watch TV-MA), I'd recommend Magical Arcade Abenobashi for even more outrageousness of the GAINAX kind, directed by the Executive Producer of FLCL.

It pretty much parodies everything and anything both within GAINAX (using songs from the Evangelion soundtrack in the Giant Robot sequence and a preview) and outside of GAINAX (really good parodies of dating sim games, swords & sorcery, fairy tales, and sci-fi movies like 2001 and Back to the Future).

It's weird and deep like FLCL (but easier to understand)

I only saw the martial arts episode of Aben. seeing him mess around the kamehameha was funny. but when i first heard of Cromartie, im thinking of this hard drama, even with the robot, then when i see it im thinking to myself WTF! they cant be serious, the guy had a hand puppet and was considered a badass.

I'll stick with the anime I watch now. Then, when some reviews come out I'll start watching the newer ones brought over.
