Anime Punch AMVRave Submission Request
Hello all. Name's Johnathan, and I've been assigned the position of AMV Coordinator for Anime Punch, a central Ohio anime convention. We want to do a standard con dance/rave idea, only have AMVs projected onto the walls to strenghten the association between the anime we're celebrating and the dance.
Originally we wanted to do a complete start-to-finish multieditor mix project, but as it was discussed in this thread it became obvious that we just don't have the time left before the con to accomplish such a task.
So I'm looking for people to submit their upbeat AMVs to have them shown. The eventual goal is to have anywhere from 6 to 8 hrs of AMV footage that people can dance to and have fun.
As far as the exact genres of music we'd like, refer to this post. Basic anything upbeat that you'd want to dance to.
I will notify creators if their submission is accepted, and we will find some way of crediting everybody during the event (prolly in the form of scrolling credits at the end). Bumpers/titles are allowed, but if they're overly long the AMV has a lesser chance of being included. We will most likely not be editing the AMVs, just playing them back-to-back in a long playlist.
Submission can be in most formats, but mpeg is preferred. No Windows Media or RealMedia submissions will be accepted.
Thanks in advance ^_^

Happy you decided to go ahead with this.
I just uploaded this video today. It should fit well.

Also this one is alittle older so it's 352x240 (vcd quality) but if you're going for length you can use it too.

They have some really good dance AMVs in this thread..

There's one in there that uses one piece that is really good, and even has a lot of people dancing in it.
Also this track is pretty good..

ignore this post if they need to be submited by the creators.
