Cosplay: Would you do it?

oh, most definitely crossplay isn't as difficult for women

I went as a female Omi from Weiss Kreuz to ACen 2k3 (fried my hair and turned it orange, but I still had fun) ^.^;

and we get men who crossplay at ACen all the time...the most classic crossplayer is actually a staffer for security- Sailor Bubba
big, burly biker guy with beard and everything, wearing a sailor moon outfit ^.^;
but he actually is able to pull it off because...come on, he's Sailor Bubba! and nobody messes with him cuz he's part of security lol

then we get the guys who absolutely should not ever crossplay, but they do it anyway... ManFaye (Cowboy Bebop) and ManTifa (FF7) gouging your eyeballs out after seeing them would not be a good idea because then that image will forever be burned into your brain as the last thing you ever saw...
we're talking, hairy @sses hanging out of shorts, beer gut hanging out of riske tops...just...eww

I would do it if it required me to wear little clothing. If that is even aloud at conventions.. I never have seen guys walking around half naked but I have the girls. I wouldn't fit in!

I'd do it if I had the patience to make a costume, or buy the right clothes. We don't have any conventions here in Pennsylvania from what I've seen. Mom hates travelling on planes, and dad hates going out on airplanes and ships. So it's a no go.

I've done cosplaying on halloween as a joke. It was really bad cosplay, which I think was sort of fitting for halloween, since it was so horrendous. If you really care, I was Luffy. I had a red vest...except that it had white and blue stars on it. I had blue shorts, but they weren't jeans. I wore sneakers, had no hat, and had the wrong style hair.

I guess I'm a really versatile anime fan, I like making AMVs, drawing, watching, and well.. cosplaying ._. (altho my friends are muuuch more talented...)

And the fact I've done like, 2 1/2 (1 for halloween xD)

glasses suck

and technically it -is- a crossplay, but haku looks nuff like a girl so it doesn't count (however, i do nothave a good excuse for wearing glasses XD)

Cosplay for halloween? Yes.

I can't sew...so if I ever make a costume, It'll be incomplete and ugly, collecting dust in my closet, until years later, I find it and, "Oh, yeah...I never finished this.Oh well." Then, I'll probably through in a Free Stuff box and leave it out on the street. Yup, I can just imagine it now...
