Just an FYI, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust does not have a Japanese dubbing track, period. There is no Japanese dubberd version for Bloodlust, and there never will be.

Ah! My Goddess has an excellent dub. Even, or perhaps especially, the OVA.

Tim Curry as the king of cats? Priceless, people.

"Howl's Moving Castle" also has an excellent english dub. When Studio Ghibli/Disney does it right, they do it wonderfully. When they do it wrong (Mononoke Hime, Spirited Away)...its just so, sooo wrong.

FLCL's English voice actors sound like the Japanese voice actors in inflection and manner. Which is what I look for in a good dub... just like what the director wanted. I don't want my anime to sound like a loud explosive Saturday morning American cartoon, unless that is the way it was originally envisioned.

Out of all the anime out there, that's your list? Yeesh, man. You had a few good ones, but...come on. Try to stay away from the Cartoon Network's showings, alright?

(For the record, I've been a lurker of this place for a little while. This is my first actual post, though. Silly me. XD)

MY personal top 20 list:

(In no order)

1. Fushigi Yuugi
2. Neon Genesis Evangelion
3. The Vision of Escaflowne (Series OR movie, but the movie kicked ass)
4. Martian Successor Nadesico
5. Hellsing (Gotta love it, heh.)
6. Cowboy Bebop
7. Spriggan
8. Ghost In The Shell (1st or 2nd movie)
9. Outlaw Star
10. Naruto (Not as overrated as some migh think. Gets REAL good later on.)
11. Hana Yori Dango :'D
12. Ronin Warriors (Right on! Classic)
13. Spirited Away (Or any work by Miyazaki, really...)
14. Revolutionary Girl Utena
15. Excel Saga
16. Dragonball (Not DBZ or GT. The first was the best, a-thank you. The only reason I'm listing it is because it was very amusing and also very influential to the anime world when anime was juss coming about.)
17. Ranma 1/2 <33
18. Fruits Basket
19. Samurai X/Kenshin (I prefer Samurai X, but hey. S'all good.)

Man, when you've seen as much stuff as me it's hard to pick 20, really. I'll probably change this list, later, when I think of more stuff, I'm sure. XD

I'm sure many of these were listed, already. Also, another one would be Prince of Tennis. I'm not big into the sport series stuffs...but I think P of T is actually really good. I liked Princess Nine, too, sure. XD GREAT voice acting for that one, methinks.

Cromartie's another good one. XD Really, though...there are...a LOT of titles that come to mind...

I can't say I'll stay away from Cartoon Network's showings of Anime (I haven't watched it since 2003 anyways, before they moved to saturdays only), it is after all what introduced me to A-N-I-M-E in all honesty.

I'm not trying to offend you or anything, but your list is compilled of many series I haven't even heard or watched unless by name or webrbowsing. I call those the regual ADULT anime or Anime for those who never watched Cartoon Network, etc.

to be quite honest, I enjoyed the english dub of Cowboy Bebop more then the subed one... And I think the original TV dub Lina from Slayers was much better dubbed then the japanese! So sometimes dubs can be just as good if not better for my enjoyment
