Just a little note to you, not a spoiler much but.. there is gonna be another Shippou filler..but as far as i know, there's only 1 and it's in the 130's.

There really are too many fillers in the anime.. Thank goodness for me i have a friend who has all of the Japanese released box sets so i've already seen the entire series. I hated the fact that there were so many filler eps, but i got over it.. :roll: Btw, the Shichinintai arc (for you ppls watching the badly translated english dub, it's the 7 Man Group (i swear they shoulda kept it as Shichinintai..sounds soooo much better..)), that arc of the story isn't a filler section, it was actually intended. I felt sorry for Jakoutsu.. > >

I definately prefer the manga over the anime for this series. More blood, more action, better story, and if there are any side cuts, they last for 1-2 chapters, not an entire arc..so yeah...

I have complaints on the translations.. Like.. when they translated Bakuryuuha to Backlash Wave, when it actually means Dragon Twister.. I know that in the 3rd movie they refered to Tetsusaiga's attack as Backlash Wave and Sounga's as Dragon Twister, but if you watch it in Japanese, then you'll notice that when both of them are said, they BOTH say Bakuryuuha! One reason more to hate the translation/scriptwriting groups for American releases of anime series.. > >
They did that with most of InuYasha's attacks, some of Naraku's attacks, and some of Miroku's attacks. > >

Well, Backlash Wave is rather desciptive. (Seeing as the attack sends the demon's energy back at it.) But I see what you mean. 9.9 Some of it just seems so pointless.

And why would those two swords have the same attack name? :?

Kinda figured The Band of Seven arc was part of the original. It was just so important to the larger plot.

I'd like to be able to get my hands on the manga. :cry: (No money, lousy library.) But what do you mean by that last bit? Where in the anime were there entire filler arcs? (The closest I can think of is the dried demon bit, but that was just two episodes.)
I am a rabid Inuyasha fangirl! Fear me!

The two swords belonged to InuTaishou (well..he really has no actual name..it's just a nickname.. > >), InuYasha and Sesshoumaru's father. He owned Tetsusaiga (Steal Cleaving Fang), Tenseiga (Healing Fang), and Sounga (Hell Fang). Sounga was too powerful so it had to be sealed up, but because of the users and where and how it came to be, i guess the attack just became part of it.. I'm not really 100% about how that happened actually.. ^^;;

Well..not really a complete arc..more like 1-3 eps or something.. But where the story bit only lasts 1-2 chapters, and lasts 1-3 eps, it coulda lasted half an ep.. o_O

Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.

There's nothing to worry about.

I just said something about it in my last post... > >

InuYasha's dad doesn't have a name. Instead, he has been nicknamed InuTaishou, meaning "Great Dog Leader" or something like that...

Oi. I see what you mean.

As for Inuyasha's dad's name. I don't know if it's so much a nickname as a title. (Like Octavian being called Augustus, which is the root of our word meaning 'great or lofty'.)

Lol, my parents know i like this series. My uncle even knows.. He got me a figurine and a manga of it for me for Christmas! XD

My mom likes making fun of InuYasha's name. She prounounces it all weird... o_O (she made fun of Sesshoumaru's name, Kagome's name, Miroku's name, and Sango's name. How the heck can you make fun of Sango's name!?) She saw a Tshirt once that had Kirara on it and it was at HotTopic and she almost got it! XD
