Satoshi Kon has some great stuff, especially Millenium Actress and Tokyo Godfathers...

I finally saw the Japanese version of Howl's Moving Castle and I have to say it's now one of my favourite anime movies(actually a close second to Final Fantasy:Advent Children  )

Hmmm.....

Spirited Away
2nd DBZ movie, the best one.
Tokyo Godfathers
Perfect Blue
Kakurenbo
Dead Leaves
Metropolis, it seriously out weighs I Robot on the whole "Robot slavery-revolution" thing.

Memories: Magnetic Rose is such a good story and the other two are just fun.
Millenium Actress: Interesting way of telling the story of an actress' life with the interviewers drifting into her memories.
Jin-Roh: Little Red Riding Hood the way it should be told...in an Akira-like revolution setting.
Akira: Should I explain?
Spriggan: Simple, straight-forward and action packed.
A Wind Named Amnesia: Everyone regresses into their caveman-like selves. What really makes us human? Excellent story.
Macross: Do You Remember Love?: It's Macross! The quality (1984) still blows away stuff put out today.
Arcadia Of My Youth: Captain Harlock...no need to say any more.
Fist Of The North Star: Condensing the TV series into a couple hours and adding in actual views of blood spray.

My favorite is probably Princess Mononoke, because the art work was so nice, the music was great and the story was touching. It's just an all around great movie.

Other movies that I really enjoy are:

Memories
Perfect Blue
Jih-Roh
Ninja Scroll
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
The Wings of Honneamise
Samuari X (OVA)
