Gundam Evolve

Post by Chaos Incarnate » Fri Feb 03, 2006 2:16 pm

Yikes, only here for a few hours and already being pimp-slapped by the admins. Apparently I asked the wrong question about Gundam Evolve. Let me reprase my question.

There are something like 15 'episodes' of Gundam Evolve out. Does anyone know where I can get them? I got #2 with my PG Mk-II, and I got #4 with my Orchis, and I know there was a compilation with #1-5 on a disk, which I also bought (ed. paid money for), and enjoyed. Does anyone know where I can find additional disks? Sadly, any sites I found that have information, have said information in Japanese.

Anyhow, in my defense for my previous crime, I'd like to say that I only skimmed the Terms and Conditions, and I'd bet that only a small handfull of the people here have read them through, most of those people being the person who wrote it. Secondly, I had no idea AMV would react so strongly to the mere mention of asking for a crappy low res version of something I was planning to buy if I could anyway. The Gundam Evolve homepage has those, if someone asks me about Evolve, and I link them to that page, will I be banned? Anyhow, the reason why I didn't expect such a response was that AMV is so accepting of "illegal" downloads. I looked at a few AMVs off this site yesterday, and I've been looking at a whole bunch on Google Video for a long time, (that's what led me here) and I'd say at least a full third of all the AMV stamped videos I saw were at least partially ripped from fandubbed videos. Fandubs, for those of you who may be curious, are unlicensed and therefore illegal versions of regular videos. If I were AMV staff, I would look at tracking down and disciplining those people, instead of reprimanding a newbie for a question (not even something I did! I only asked about doing it!).

Anyhow, in closing, I would like to offer my apologies to AMV staff for not readign their rules fully, that will be the next thing I look at here, and I would also like to reiterate my request for additional information on where to find Gundam Evolve.

While they've announced thirteen right now only heard about being able to find up through 7 (...and if it's any consolation, I've heard mixed on 6 and 7 anyways.)

Good luck hunting all the same, just saying.
