Shining text effect??

Post by Dan-E » Wed Feb 08, 2006 3:28 pm

Is there anyway I can create the effect where it appears as though light is shining through from behind the text without after effects??

thanks in advance.

Radial blur, then come color adjustments. Levels maybe.

using those tools (not sure what you mean by color adjustments and levels btw), is it possible to make it seem like the light is moving in the background?? So, it appears like the light is shining through the text from the left side, and then moves over to the right side of the text giving a different lighting angle?? If so, how?

Just animate the center point of the radial blur.

I'm using premiere 6.0, and all i can do is set where the blur center is created... I have no idea how to animate the blur center... Just in case I didn't specify clearly enough, i'm trying to create an effect similar to the one Requiett creates in his 'Living in Sin' video at the very beggining with the whole '12th Illusion Studio' effect. Is it even possible to make it look that good using just premiere and photoshop?
