i agree
i really like the opening song to final fantasy x-2 its called "real emotion" i have the sound track...also i think "Simple and clean" by Utada Hiraku from Kingdom hearts is a really cool song. but i just love all of Utada's songs, so i guess it doesnt really matter. i agree with u guys when u said the samurai champloo theme song is cool. i like the fact that they incorporated hiphop with anime....major props with that!

personally, i'm not too much a fan of Utada's songs. My favorite video game intro would have to be from "Thousand Arms" for the Playstation (PSX) "Depend on You" by Ayumi Hamasaki.
As for anime theme songs, lately I've been listening to a lot of Yoko Ishida after watching Ai Yori Aoshi. "Eternal Flower" is a nice song. "Open Your Mind" the opening theme to the Ah! My Goddess TV series was also done by Ishida. Very nice stuff.
I just wish that L'arc~en~Ciel had their song "Dive to Blue" as an opening to an anime or something...I could so see it fit with a number of different series. Although, FMA's "Ready, Steady, Go" by L'arc~en~Ciel was good, doesn't come close to "Dive to Blue".

I love Utada Hikaru. 
My favorite song from her is 'First Love', it's so cute. It's popular but it's not tied to any anime/game...not that I know of anyway. I like 'Depend on You' as well. I pretty much like anything from Ayumi cause...come on. It's Ayumi. 
And this anime's old but I like both its intro and outro..Boys Be. 'Daijoubu' and 'Minna ga Iine'...oh and Akihabara Dennougumi: 'Taiyou no Hana' and..'Birth'. One more series, Gatekeepers, the original one. 'Kyou Kara Asu He'..I think. Yep.
