Yes you were right it is Souryuu Kyouko Zeppelin.
I also have more stuff to add. When I said the 4 devils in the bible I ment to say the 4 barons of hell. And the 4th baron would be unit-03 - black as pitch and unatturaly long arms.

The Lance of Longinus
The 'Lance of Longinus' as seen in NGE, is a huge spear shaped like a double helix. It was used by Ayamani to destroy the 15th angel, Arael. It is also necessary for Seele's version of the Human Completion Project. This is definitely a reference to the Biblical character Saint Longinus

(Taken from Catholic Online Saints)

"St. Longinus is the centurion who pierced the side of Our Lord while He was hanging on the Cross. St. Longinus, who was nearly blind, was healed when some of the blood and water from Jesus fell into his eyes. It was then he exclaimed "Indeed, this was the Son of God!" [Mark 15:39]. St. Longinus then converted, Left the army, took instruction from the apostles and became a monk in Cappadocia. There he was arrested for his faith, his teeth forced out and tongue cut off. However, St. Longinus miraculously continued to speak clearly and managed to destroy several idols in the presence of the governor. The governor, who was made blind by the demons that came from the idols, had his sight restored when St. Longinus was being beheaded, because his blood came in contact with the governors' eyes. St. Longinus' relics are now in the church of St Augustine, in Rome. His Lance is contained in one of the four pillars over the altar in the Basilica of St Peter's in Rome."

I think this bears repeating.
Heero_Yuy84 wrote:Finally, at the Otakon anime convention held in 2001, assistant director Kazuya Tsurumaki (who was the director of The End of Evangelion: Episode 25' Air - while Anno personally undetook The End of Evangelion: Episode 26' Sincerely Yours and acted as Chief Director) was asked directly what relvance Christianity had to Evangelion. This was his reply:
Tsurumaki: There are a lot of giant robot shows in Japan, and we did want our story to have a religious theme to help distinguish us.
Because Christianity is an uncommon religion in Japan we thought it would be mysterious. None of the staff who worked on Eva are Christians.
There is no actual Christian meaning to the show, we just thought the visual symbols of Christianity look cool. If we had known the show would get
distributed in the US and Europe we might have rethought that choice.

Gainax did their homework, but in the end, it was prettymuch just for show.
I'm all for clowning around seeing pictures in clouds, but as long as you realize that that's what it is, not "the hidden meaning" or "the true meaning." If I see a cloud shaped like a bear, it means that it's a cloud that looks like a bear, not an actual bear.

FYI.

Eva was an interesting series without making it out to be the Bible itself. I don't think you're doing it a service, fanboy, and a truly religious person would have grounds to be severely pissed at your dicking around with their holy work. *shrug*

Okay, here's the deal: This is one of the most INCORRECT things people say about Eva.

There are no such things as the "Four Barons of Hell." No where in the Bible do they mention the Barons of Hell. For that matter, Hell is barely talked abuot at all in the Bible. Most of what we understand to be "Hell" comes from speculations of the church and from Dante Aligieri's "The Divine Comedy - Part I: The Inferno." Nowhere is there ever listed "Four Barons of Hell" There are Princes of Hell, Generals of Hell, Lords of Hell, Dukes of Hell, etc., but none of them fit the descriptions of the Evas, and in most cases there are either 3 or more than four.

The Mecha designer, Ikuto Yamashita, has said: "I figure that from now on, I will hear that question countless times. The director instructed me to make, 'the image of a demon.'"

There you go, the designers basically just made up what he thought would look monsterous, that's all. Sorry to burst your bubble, but this myth has to be put to rest; it was created by, and has been enlengthened by, overzealous Eva fans who apparently have never picked up and actually READ the Bible. Seriously, I'm agnostic, but I've read the bible many times. The Evas aren't allusions to the horses in the Book of Daniel, nor are they the Horsemen of the Apocalypse as told in Revelation, they simply are a product of someone's imagination (not that a large portion of the images in Daniel and Revelation aren't, but you get what I'm saying). That's all, end of story.

If you want to know about some of the more obscure things of Eva, such as the Black and White Moons, check the Wikipedia thread:

After reading your post, I decided to do resaerch on it.
Most of my search came to doom the game because there is a monster named that.
Anyway its pretty much on every eva fan site out there.
It has not been proven wrong. Here is one site.
Look to the bottom of the page.

Now this one says that is was not in the bible but it was during medevil times.
You may be right or I may be right there just isnat enough proff.

I had always heard that the demons the Evas were supposedly modeled after were from Japanese mythology, not Judeo-Christian writings.

I realize that the Eva / Four Barons of Hell link is written on almost every Eva fansite, but if you'll remember, so was Dragonball AF on every Dragonball Z site, and we now know that to be a prank.

In this case, the absence of evidence IS evidence of absence, to quote The Boondocks.
