Wow, you're right, only about eight replies have actually been both relevant and serious.

And shinodude is derailing the thread quickly.

And back on topic, it's not that big a deal if the org can't host videos anymore, they aren't banned, they just won't be avaliable for download to avoid legal problems caused by the fact that AMVs aren't exactly legal. In the worst case senario, the org will just be a catalogue of AMVs, people will have to host their AMVs themselves, on their own sites. Phade did the best he could, which is avoid a big strugle, and just comply with the demands that the videos won't be downloadable now. Its not like you can't make Evanecence AMVs anymore, you just need to host them somewhere else if it's that important people see your AMV.

Why is this even being discussed? This has been covered at least 20 times by now, and everytime its started by someone who doesn't the announcements on the main page.

What do you want Phade to do? Fight it? Yeh there's an intelligent idea. Not only will it make the poor guy broke, but it'll bring a great deal more attention to the .org. Within a week every other goddam record company would be beating down Phade's door with a new cease and decist.
