Adobe Premiere Plugins

Post by uuber87 » Fri Feb 24, 2006 7:02 pm

I wanted to know a place where you could download some free plugin effects for Adobe Premiere Pro. One that I want in general is the "Matrix characters sliding down the screen" effect and "Fire burnin off the edges of an image" effect. If its possible to get these effects, can you let me know about it, cuz I have a real good idea in my head for this video I thought of.

I know they may not be free, but that is a chance I'm willing to take in order to get it, but if you can tell me where they're free, thanks alot.

Have you tried looking at Adobe's site?
they have a rather large list of plugins
http://www.adobe.com/products/plugins/p ... /main.html
it says pro 2.0, but I think that the list is exactly(or very similar) the same as it was for 1.5.

You aren't going to find much in the way of "free" plugins. There are a number of commercial plugins that can create a matrix effect, but I'm pretty sure you wont find a free one.

I've found a couple of free ones for Adobe Premiere Pro, but I don't know where to put them to make them work in Adobe.

There should be a plugin folder within the Premiere installation directory.

sry, internet was down for a bit, but I don't like that Wrigley Video crap, no offense. It looks so lame. I found the plugin from my friend, Corran, but I don't see a plugin folder at all. I've also reinstalled it, there still isn't one on there.
