AMV Hell Championship Edition

What is a good length for an AMV to enter into the competition. My first one was 4 seconds which was a bit too short obviously. My second was 14 seconds which was the same as the first winner. But is there a preferable length?

I'll quote my high school teacher real quick:

"It should be like a skirt; Short enough to stay exciting but long enough to cover the subject."

Sure he was talking about essays, but I'm sure it applies here. Length doesn't really matter. What matters is how funny it is.

Alright guys, I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do. As of right now, I have hardly recieved any entries for round 12! I literally have like 3 entries so far. I'm not sure why there are so few entries, maybe people were busy, or maybe just couldn't come up with anything for the song?

Anyways, I have decided to extend the deadline for round 12 by one week.
Because of this, I will also give yokou seishirou some additional time to get back from his vacation to judge round 11.

Now send in some good entries for round 12, people!

Yeah it's definately tough. But I do have a bit of an idea, with the extended deadline I hope I can get to it next week.

I sent an entry in already, but it's ridiculously simple and not really funny so much as just "WTF?" I agree that it is a very hard song to work with. ;.; Perhaps I should try and do something better before the end of next week, then. Gotta do something to keep busy while waiting for the Round 11 results, right? ^^;

Heh..maybe the song just scared them off...i kinda though it was going to be hard to work with until i looked up some stuff...then it became a whole lot eaiser...but who knows..maybe my entry is not funny enough...mmm..only 3 for this round huh..that is kinda low...maybe the extention would do some good..

Are people on holiday in America? Here in the UK, it's half term so I get a week off school. Yayyyyy

If it is a holiday in America, then mabe people can't get to a computer with Internet+movie editing software with all their anime. Well, it's an idea why very few people entered round 12. I entered, but then, i never go away on holiday. I'm always at home doing F*** all.
