I know that FMP was suggested earlier...but is it Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid (for the first...I think I heard that TSR only had 13 episodes)

It's more of the no science fiction category. And it's just the first quote that doesn't have magic or sci-fi. The second series has a giant robot in it.

dunno about the first, im stuck on the first hint... no magic or science fiction.. thats tough for an anime.. like lupin or something...
