I wanted to do a second track but with the time restraints I don't want to bump anyone else out. Here's a question... Can I make 2 tracks and then show them to you and you pick which one is better and put that one in? Because I've hit another good idea but I don't want to take up the space of 2 tracks in the project.

Yes, I found them listed on CMCentral.com as a Christian artist. From the looks of it, this artist is similar to bands like Anberlin in that they are a Christian rock band, but mostly do fairly ambiguous songs that have little Christian message. It's preferred if you can find a song by them that does have a Christian message that you use that. I looked at some of their song's lyrics, and songs like "Awakening", "Embers And Envelopes", "Sun", "Painless", "Anything", or "Tisbury Lane" would be great. Did you already have a song in mind?suberunker wrote:Would you guys count Mae as an acceptable artist? I know that some claim they are a Christian band others say they aren't.

They sound like a pretty good band though. I think it would be cool to have them on here, and it would be really cool to have you join this project too.

I personally wouldn't consider Mae (or Anberlin for that matter) a Christian band. I guess my definition of a Christian band is a lot different than your guys'. Mae is another case of "Christians in a band", not necesarilly "a Christian band." They're all lumped into that category because they happen to be on Tooth and Nail (which as I had stated before, is not specifically a Christian label). But, meh. I dunno. In the case of Mae there's only one song where they even mention Jesus (Tisbury Lane). Many of their songs do have positive themes, but by that logic you could lump in hundreds of secular bands/songs.
Ah well.
