AMV Hell Championship Edition

The judging is blind; we have no idea who submitted which entries. Heck, we don't even know who entered the round period. All we're given are numbered videos to vote on. So there is no bias (save for a bias towards the best entries, I suppose). And disqualifying past winners will just force us to choose a less-deserving entry, which isn't right. The best video should win, regardless of its creator.

Ok. Sorry about that post. I was in a strange mood at that point. But that system sounds clever though.

Because of AMV Hell, i decided to make my own version up. Take a look. Note that it is still a work in progress. When it is completed i will upload to the org and google video.

The link does work... just my server went down. Sorry. That teaches me for using a free online file server. I will report the moment my server returns. An England versus America AMV Hell... hmmm interesting. Although there are a lot more people in America than us in Britain.

just out of interest, why do you have to convert the mp3 to wav format before putting it in the editing program. Mine works fine with mp3s. Oh and another thing: Any good video editing software out there (free please). I'm using windows movie maker and it's getting on my nerves.

Many editing programs just have a hard time with mp3s. Some work well, but it increases the tendancy for audio problems, like clicks and other undesireables. There are many other reasons, but for a good overview of things you should look at the guides, especially Read <a href=http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech31/>ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides</a>.
