Recommend a series!

Small sampling of...

Anime I've liked: Eureka Seven, s-CRY-ed, RahXephon, Rurouni Kenshin OVAs (TV series not so much), Black Cat, Love Hina, Scrapped Princess, Gundam Wing, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Ghost in the Shell.

Anime I didn't like: Eva, Vandread, Ninja Scroll, DBZ, Sailor Moon, Samurai Deeper Kyo, and Gundam Seed.

Those in mind, anyone have a series suggestion for me to watch? Old, new, whatever.

I suggest Fullmetal Alchemist, Last Exile, R.O.D. (Read or Die), R.O.D. the TV, and Full Metal Panic!

If you like the Ghibli stuff (esp. Spirited Away) then it might be worth checking out Haibane Renmei. Gentle character-based story over 13 episodes primarily exploring ideas of self-consciousness and redemption.

I recomend ya go buy the two nip/tuck box sets. It's not anime, but its alot better than most anime.
