At least in my defense, that's why I said 'define Techno', but then defaulted to the assumption that they just meant electronic music in general.

sorry, I just hate the global misinterpretation of every electronic music being techno

I know what you mean, although my beef is mainly with people who label Industrial as Goth Rock (especially considering that Goth Rock isn't even close to electronic music).
