Need help translating

Post by VGM » Sat Mar 18, 2006 1:11 am

Hello I love anime :D and well some of it such as DearS got me curious as to how to spell some words out. Any who watch DearS knows that Ren calls Takeya Master and Ren his slave. I here it and it sounds like Ojisama for master. Well I want to know if Im close as I am having a hard time finding a Japanese->English translator that can help me.

If a fluent Japanese speaker can help me translate a few words or give me a site that could help I would love you.

Words and the english meaning
1. Master: to own a person, owning a person.
2. Slave or Love Slave:person owned by their Master.
3. Slave Trainer:Teaches the slaves how to be well good slaves.
4. Untrained/Unskilled Slave:a slave who is new to slavery.

Thank you. I need this for a school project and am hoping for feedback and help.

Don't bump, we don't like it on this board.

I don't speak Japanese, so I can't help you on the rest, sorry. Good luck!

Otaku + S&M + phonetic Japanese = scary.

Its a part of the anime

Post by VGM » Sat Mar 18, 2006 8:51 pm

Um I can understand if you don't like it but these are just words from some anime I watched. DearS, Hanaukyo Maid Team, and Stell Angel Kurumi all have master slave/servant in them.

What I'm looking for is mearly a little help.

Update so far on attemting to figure it out myself.

I thought it was Ojisama but listening to my other anime it sounds like it could be Kojisama, Osokojisama, Kosojisama, or soma. Having hard time with translators still.

Anyway to fix this or can I get it to be spelt with english characters.
My best guess for Master is Kosajisama

I have to do a presentation so please bokugakowaii if you could use english characters for the Japanese part.

Like how I know your last part of your name kowaii is cute in Japanese :D

Thank you for the Japanese characters as well. I can use them and if I can get the sounds right so I don't look like an idiot when I present would be nice.

Here's your romanji (english characters).

1. Dorei - Slave, servant
2. Aidorei - Love Slave
3. Yakotrainer - Slave trainer

If you would like to download a software for typing/reading japanese chars I recommend NJStar Japanese WP.

Actually, and this is slightly embarressing (sp?) to admit - my username's misspelled. What I was about to write was "kowai", which means scared or scary. Now I'm instead being called "cuty" and stuff. How ironic.

~~ Best of luck at your presentation, pal

Thank you so much. Just one last thing. My 1. Is Master. Can I get away with Kosojisama?
Last thing I need help on so I really hope you check back one last time.

After this I can let this thread die.

You have my eternal gratitude.
Also I see you what you meant about misspelling of your name.
Please help me once more time

I'm sorry, must've forgotten that one.
Well, I wouldn't go with Kosojisama. What kind of master do you reffer to?

Goshujin - Employer of servants (I would take this one)
Kacho - Master of household
Shushi - Degree holder
Meijin - Skilled person

~~ Once again, good luck
