Anyone going to or has been to AnimeDetour?

Supid question, but isn't the cosplay techincal judging at 3pm .... ? The AMV contest is at 1pm so I was thinking of the Tiger sushi for an early lunch, like 11 - 11:30 ... or we could go after the contest. Tis up to you guys.

It's 1:30, to be exact. And it looks like it goes til 3:00. You and anyone else can tag along with the mall-raid group, no problem with that (as long as you tell the mall-raid moderator, in the link a few posts above, that you're coming so that she has a good guess on who's coming).

Best year so far! There were multiple time's there were panels going on at the same time that I had to choose between going to. Usually the panels are kinda average and I never have scheduling conflicts.

Not this year! I had to make some tough choices!

Can't wait till next year already!

What's also cool is that both mine (Shinji, The Eva Slayer) and My wife Ezmeralda's ("His own Path..." Sauske/Naruto) video were shown at the AMV contest.

Judge Holden: I swear I was sitting right in front of you. Did you wonder why my "Eva Slayer" video was in action and not in trailer out loud? When your video was shown I heard a couple of your friends go nuts so that's why I was wondering if that WAS you.

Damn, I actually didn't go due to time and budget constraints. And the main fact that I was too lazy and didn't even get half of my amv done. I hope everyone had fun ^_^! I look forward to after con reports and the amvs that I missed

I was going to PM and ask "why not trailer?" I think it would have fit there so much better.

Cuz, it's more of a trailer, and would have looked cool there? Plus, nobody could have won against that last video in action .... I didn't like tha fact that Jo put all the winners at the end of the catagories ... all drama in who won was kinda lost .. Not like I had a shot anyway, cuz my video really didn't fit into any catagory.

and the ending sux, should have entered Kino ... or El general into comedy ... oh well, live and learn is what I say.

I went and had an awsome time! Went to four of the amv pannels and met phade, made a freind fanart him when I had to leave a second mass (technicaly 3rd but 2nd I was at) signing so I could check out of our rooms. Did a bunch of other things to of course but it was fun to watch old amvs with friends who had not seen them yet.
