i've always assummed the baby is Olga's, as the patriots have "it" and Raiden has actually rescued it.

Olga got shot in the forehead by a famas weilding Solidus (Who should have survived IMO), you'd think she'd be dead but after vamp surviving;

a group of marines, snake, raiden, several missiles, being crushed and a sniper shot to the head...who knows?

we know liquid/ocelot survived and are inleague with the patriots
