I've been busy on my school game project. (Sample screenshots: shot 1, shot 2 )
I haven't had time to start up a new AMV project in a while, but maybe in 2 weeks I'll have time to pick up one of my ideas that have been piling up.

Haven't watched any new anime or AMV in over a year. My company (www.SDDigitalImagery.com) survived it's first year of business and just did it's taxes.
The past few months have been dedicated to producing a 20 minute film. We're in the final week of production. Once the copyright clears I'll be submitting it to festivals and online sites.
My bulldog set me back 5 grand in surgery recently and with other financial events I've decided against Anime Expo this year. So no working main events nor making the GOH videos. But I am still making the AX TV channel again.
Just finished a small commercial for AX as well, which will go wherever they want it to: DVD or online.
In a few weeks I'm directing a live to broadcast 30 minute news show at my local college.
And lastly, got videos for clients from SDDI to take care of. Got 1 wedding and 1 memory video in the works right now. Filming another wedding in 2 weeks.

Unlike many people, I don't concern myself with getting AMVs done by a deadline. While I suspect that this is due to my sucking as an editor - and, thus, a lack of motivation - it's also because I don't take the hobby that seriously. What I do I do not consider work or "keeping busy," but rather a timekiller, as time seems to be something I have too much of on my hands anymore. Even college fails to keep me occupied much of the time.
Most of my "busy time" is comprised of videogames (Kingdom Hearts II, in particular) and watching new anime (Sukisyo! at the moment). Even that is a loose schedule, though.
The only real "work" I have to do is to read a 100 page novel in Spanish by the end of the semester. This novel has unfamiliar words abounding, as well as several verb tenses I haven't even learned - but my teacher is a fucking nutcase like that. He always expects the impossible. I suppose I'm used to it by now, if the good grade on my midterm is any indication.
As far as my AMVs go, I've been busy gathering upgraded/new components and knowledge. Thus, I haven't made anything new in a long, long time.

PS: you know...I think I've studied EADFAG more than my schoolwork. That should bother me...... should...

Where have I been?! I took on eight cosplay projects in seven months. Two for Tekkoshocon (my home con), one for ACen, six for Otakon including one that was finished late last year. That's where. Somebody please kill me.
Four are done, but still. Kill pls. Thx.
That, the five commissions last year, and the Artists' Alley table preparation are what have kept me shelved here since late 2004. Plus the full-time joe-job, which eats up time (albeit not much mental energy).
But that's okay, because a) my videos suck and b) working on them whenever I have a couple of hours to kill still makes me happy. You'd be surprised; it can still actually be fun.
Maximum of full-fledged projects at once, or maximum of half-assed ideas? Probably half a dozen on the half-assed ideas, and probably a max of 2 on the full-fledged projects. Hard drive space, for source, is the limiting factor.
