Anime Party
Hey all, we don't really have anime conventions here in southeast missouri. the closest we ever came was two booths at a comic convention and we have a club here at the university but that's about it. We generally have to avoid manga corps and others cause campus says we have to get official consent from them b4 we can watch it. So we generally have the business part of the meeting first then we watch wtf ever we want, but the board has to get the hell out so they can say they didn't know about anything after they left. It works sometimes, but we have already had funding pulled twice cause of that.

Well, if this is how you write to them, I'm not surprisedltdan wrote:we got something like that going with ADV, but all they send us are screener disks and last months sucked soooo much ass. Every time we try to get permission, the anime corps either outright ignore us or tell us to sod off.
Seriously, join Anime University - they sent a nice little packet of stuff once a month, usually a screener disc with a couple eps of various shows and some postcards/stickers/posters. Also, Funimation has a program, and so does Bandai. Join up with all of them, and you have enough content for the average club to thrive...
