Anime is a way of expression

anime has to make us feel what the characters are feeling !
so you can feel their emotions <

I stopped crying around the time I hit puberty. However, I'll get teary eye'd now and then when I watch something dramatic happen. I suppose anime is my way of flushing and using my my tear ducts.

Sometimes, I just watch something sad just to get high. It's a rather curious feeling anyway. Gotta love how endorphins.

I think I have only cried once in an anime. I have gotten teary many times but only actually cried once. It was when I saw "Grave of the Fireflies" for the first time. The second and third time I saw it I started to shivver only by hearing the theme song... Sadly I have seen it so many times now so It does'nt have the same effect on me anymore... Maby if I wait two or three years before I see it again. Elfen Lied decerve a place of honor and so do Trigun *Spoiler* (Yes trigun... when he gets forced to kill was Really sad... I guess the time when Woolfwood dies was sposed to be sad but I didnt se it coming until far after... ) *End of Spoiler*

Can't say I have cried over an anime, I've been emotionally choked up both sad and happy. I guess I have been around to long, not many tears left.

I've heard, and read, that if you don't cry after watching Grave of the Fireflies, you're a heartless bastard who doesn't deserve the love of another...

I haven't watched it yet, but I will, eventually I suppose...

The DUB of Please Teacher made me cry. The Japanese Language one didn't... [crying as in for the characters, not crying as in how bad it was dubbed..
