RDS TV First Broadcast This Wednesday Night (04/26/06)

It was pretty good. A few hundred re buffers and I was good.

Thanks to all that tuned in, and sorry for all the wonderful technical issues we ran through (ie: RDS server geting destroyed by it being overloaded causing everyone to go to re-buffur hell).

Anyways, now for even more bad news... the recording got screwed up as well, only capturing parts of the show from time to time, so basically, the recording is all over the place and is most likely not going to be put up for download.

With all the technical difficulties that we had at the beginning, it's probably better that you guys missed this first show, though towards the end, it got a little better as the RDS server was no longer being hammered. Rest assured, upcoming shows will be recorded and technical difficulties will be gradually taken care of. : ]

x2, it was pretty unwatchable at times, you can't really watch an AMV when it pauses for 3 of every 15 seconds to rebuffer. The concept was awesome though, once you get the technical issues figured out this should be a great show.

At first I was getting kinda mad cause of the rebuffer. But towards the end it ended up being like every 10 minutes so it wasn't that bad. Got to see some amvs that I never seen before. But over all it was really cool. And having people in the chat room talking about the show was cool to.

When it worked, it was awesome. When it didn't, well...

The best thing about RDS TV, aside from the spoon, was seeing the AMVs that were being reviewed. Although having them skip, stutter, de-sync, etc. did not help, at least you get a general idea of the video and puts the review in better context.

AMV MOVIE NIGHT was awesome!

By my counting, at least 6 hours if not 8 ran through the entire night of AMVs... of course by that time it was predominantly the Aussies occupying the slots and IRC chatter
