Hmm, I never watched Grave but that being said, it is fully possible to watch a show with the 'who care's' intention in mind.
If you watch anime without immersing yourself in the story, aka, 'big deal, just a show...' You obviously have better things to do in life so go do that then waste your precious time watching anime that you don't care for...
Not that it's bad, but I find it somewhat foolish that people think it's 'manly' not to cry at a movie...
With egos like that, I suppose it's also not 'manly' to run from an obvious fight you're gonna lose...
Proven fact: women live on average 10years longer than men because they cry...
Men suck... [me being one, i should know. Sometimes I wonder why ladies got it so good... lol]

YEAH! Thats what I'm talking about... They get to wear jeans and "man clothes" suits and stuff and still being able to look hot. If I came out in a dress with those big puffy things on my shoulders I would turn half the world to stone . Lucky bastards...OmniStrata wrote:[ Sometimes I wonder why ladies got it so good... lol]
Naa beig a man aint that bad... We do get to grow a big fluffy beard ... Would'nt change that for anything in the world.

Saying I'm sorry is telling me u want to forget about everything, but saying I love you is telling me you want to be forgiven.

I just wanna say that a good anime should be able to make you feel SOMETHING, otherwise it's not that good. Am I right? So, yeah, I've been emotional over animes. I get pissed, sad, or glad when different stuff happens. It's totally normal.
P.S. I really dislike the show InuYasha because it's way too popular with the average anime fan where I live... otherwise it's an ok show... and I don't have anything against it... just don't like it that much.

You BETCHA!Orangel wrote: (You know, i think that the scene background music contributes alot to unlocking the flod of emotions)
Example: In Fruits Basket when the opening song comes in instrumental when there is a sad moment must contribute like 70 % of the mood!

hi, this is my first post in the forums
I cried watching the series Inuyasha several times, just about all the eps about Kohaku. I adore my little brothers and I could totally empathize with Sango. I also cried when Kagome was trapped in the cave with Kikyo , she's such a good person. In Fruits basket I cried on the Momiji episode as well. Momiji is my favorite character because he is so bright and good even after all he has been through. I cried when I read the manga and found out Kyo's real dad is alive and hates him and wants him dead or at the very least locked up. And when both him and Yuki admitted to themselves how they feel. Oh baby, there were some tears that night.
When I watched the last episode of Pretear with my family we were all crying, my mom, sisterinlaws, and their moms and me, even my brother was glassy eyed.
When I found out why the pillar princess emeraude called the magic knights to her world I bawled like a little weenie. So yeah, anime makes me cry, I think of it as my animated soap operas
