I need some recommendations based of this gif...

I've decided to work on another big project later on this year, but I realize it's going to take loads of preparation before I can finally start editting. What I'm going to need are simply recommendations of various anime that resemble the action going on in that animated gif. I'd prefer it if the action scenes you recommend also had a fast moving backround like in the pic posted above, but if it doesn't, then that's fine too. I just really need as many fast past action scenes that resemble the above pic.
Please if possible don't JUST post the anime you would recommend. It'd really help if you could post some episode numbers as well. And if you really want to help make this easier on me, you could also post the exact time during the ep the action scene your reffering to occurs (but I guess that might be asking for too much).
My ultimate goal is to make a cross over amv that combines many different action scenes like the one stated above. So far, I've managed to effectively combine some fight scenes between characters from Samurai Champloo, Tenjou Tenge, the King of Fighters OVA's, and FF7:Last Order, but I'm going to need many, many more sources for this to be a success. So if you know of any great quality fight scenes from any anime (except ones that deal w/ mechs) then feel free to post it here. DBZ, Naruto and bleach are givens so you don't even have to mention those--though admittedly, I'd like to try to use as little as possible from those shows.

I will recommend Rurouni Kenshin. But I am not going to do the work of skimming the series for you. That is your own duty. I can vouch that the second season has a plethora of fast-paced fight scenes for you and finding them is not difficult. The second season takes place around episodes 28 to roughly 68, those are my estimates, not exact episodes.

If you liked that, check this out...

This is kind of what I'm working towards. Just imagine dozens of more clips like this but only there'd be many more characters & they'd look less like cut outs. The above pic was something I tossed together in a few hours just to see if my concept was even possible.

here's another one I made. Hopefully this can give you all a better understanding of all the type of fight scenes I'd like to create. I apologize if your web browser previews it rather fast though.

very impressive, my only hope is that when you make the amv you go the extra length to make it look as natural as possible, lighting, no extra pixels from what you cut out, that sort of stuff.

I'm hoping photoshop will allow me to do just that. lolOrwell wrote:very impressive, my only hope is that when you make the amv you go the extra length to make it look as natural as possible, lighting, no extra pixels from what you cut out, that sort of stuff.
You see, the gif's I made in the above posts were done entirely with Macromedia flash MX--which only contains the bare essentials for basic photo editting.
Once I get the time over the summer break, I plan on bringing this project into photoshop where I'll attempt to make these scenes look much better. The last thing I want is for these characters to look like cut out's.
