Connichi 2006 AMV Contest

Germany's biggest AMV Contest returns.

In addition to the traditional contest we offer you the possibility to let AMVs simply be shown without being rated in the so called AMV Expo. Last year we didd that for the first time and the Exposition took just one hour, I would appreciate if it takes two hours this year. Feel free to contribute all your latest work.

If any questions arise please feel free to ask by posting here or in our board, which is source of the latest info.

The Connichi is one of the biggest Anime and Mange related convention in Germany. It takes place in Kassel on September 15th to 17th. Last year about 1000 people saw the very best entries in the great hall of the Kongress Palais.

It should also be noted that this is propably the first convention ever to allow h264 files

I've said I would submit for the last two years and I haven't due to the rule that your video can't debut until after the con. However this year I'll have a video finished just right before the deadline and I'll hold off on debuting it until the convention. It actually uses my own song. Hhhmmm. Emergenza Championships are being held in Germany this year. My song is from a local band Crimson Orchid and they are in it. (shamless plug) Anyways I wonder if your contest is before the finals this may help them out. Cool a double bonus possibly entering your contest and helping my friends. Anyways I look forward to entering this year.

All four of the videos that I have made down here in Iraq are going to go unsubmitted to any conventions because I can't get the war to leave me alone long enough to read and follow submission rules by mail, and I can't find an internet connection fast enough to send a HQ video over.
