premiere + xvid = nuclear disaster
usually i use xvid umaniac's build but recently it crashes a lot
with other xvid version i don't get a picture in adobe premiere at all
any idea how can i fix it

If you are short on space you might want to make short lossless clips from the scenes you want. Try lagarith codec. It should give you the most sane filesize for lossless.
Saving up for a new harddrive might be the easiest and most convinient solution though, if you don't want to make clips. Wich I would very much understand. I hate making clips myself. ^^; (Although it does has benefits beyond saving space.)

i have history with divx/xvid and really don't need posts like theseCan we please have a 'Don't Put DivX/Xvid Into Premiere, It Is Like Feeding Oatmeal To Your VCR And Daddy Will Hit You' Sticky?
i don't have a godly hdd nor i like making clips
so i guess i'll try lagarith and if it doesn't work i'll make things work somehow alone
as i do most of the time
