Question about the ending to...(SPOILER ALERT)

Cowboy bebop.

At the very end, after all the credits roll and stuff it says instead of "See you space cowboy" it says

"You're gonna carry that weight."

What was meant by this?

It's an interview with the people who worked on the series.. Shinchiro Watanabe says something about it.. do a search for the key word "carry" and you'll find an explanation of the whole thing..
