Audio
How do you guys capture audio from sources in which a DVD does not exist and get a fluid, solid, sound? I have a sound bit from Sifl and Ollie that I want to use but its only avalible on those video streaming sites and unfortunately, when I tried to capture the sound bit... it sounds very... shallow. And you can hear my dogs in the background, faintly, but its there.
Is there a different method rather than shoving my mic to the speakers?

Depending on what format it is, there are usually demuxers. Flash files, for instance, have a few demuxers available to use with them, like SoThink SWF Decompiler. Barring that, in the case of FLVs (like those from YT), there's always the ability to take the file, shove it into Graphedit, and use that - or TMPGEnc - and decode the audio, provided you have the necessary splitter/decoder.

Sorry for the double-post...
It looks like those videos from Sifl and Olly are MOV files. Depending on the format of the audio, Yamb could handle it (if AAC), or Graphedit could (using Haali's Media Splitter and ffdshow's audio decoder if the audio is QDesign, which is likely), or MKVToolNix followed by MKVExtract if the audio is MP3, or TMPGEnc with the QTReader if all else fails - that just requires that you have Quicktime or QTAlternative installed.
If it's streaming RealMedia, you'd need something that can capture the data from the stream, followed by using dBPowerAMP Music Converter (more specifically, with the Real Media plugin installed) or Graphedit again to wrangle the audio out of there.

Ah. In that case, the splitter/decoder is available at Rarewares.
