and the hilt of Ichigo's Bankai sword looks like a swastika.
I can see how you can see three 6s in Sasuke's eyes, just as people see the swastika in Ichigo's sword. But these things are just as they are, there are no "hidden" meanings in either of these things. The eyes are a little fetched to make them look like sixes, the swastika is a bit more obvious.
Why would they use a swastika? Well because this design on a hilt would interesting for a sword. Ichigo is not a Nazi, or do they ever show his sword in a position where the swastika part would actually face the audience. Besides, the Japanese were using the swastika and the saswatika before the Germans did.
There are no meanings in either of these cases, and in my opinion, there really isn't anything to argue about for them either.

that IS a swastika.angel234 wrote:yea it just really weird like neji's cuse seal in the manga that it looks like the nazi sign
as someone having to do with japanese culture you should know about it.
the thing is, a swastika has been evaluated through the japanese and is for them a symbol of luck and represents, as I heard, the sun as well.
and the nazis stole the design of it and turned it a bit so it looked like the hakenkreuz.
in the english version of naruto, the swastika has been censored out and has been replaced by a turned cross, as happened in the manga "Blade of the Immortal" as well.
I see in that method a cause for people's non-knowledge about stuff like that, which results in prejudices...

First of all, what you call Swastica is a millenia old symbol used by many cultures at 4 continents (Africa, Asia, Europe, (South-)America), usually representing the sun. It was used by the Germanic culture too, and that's where the Nazis took it from.
Second, since there is sadly still a remarkable number of Nazi sympathisants in all countries of the world, even in Japan, it is possible that the responsible character designer is one too. If someone uses the "Swastika" you can never be sure if it shouldn't have a link to the Nazi symbolism. In addition, a reference the to Nazis is often made in art to represent something evil or threatening. For example you have (Neo-) Nazis in Lupin III., the uniforms of the forces in Jin Roh are inspired by the Wehrmacht, and the helmets of Darth Vader and the storm troops as well as many imperial uniforms in Star Wars too. So if the one who uses this sword (I don't know the show) represents something like this it is very likely that it should be the Nazi symbol.

You're obviously all on crack. Clearly one can see the outline of Jesus and The Virgin Mary in each picture. I don't see any Swastika or 666 in either.

The symbol itself is the kanji for "ban" as in "ban kai". It has the same meaning for Neji's symbol on his forehead. Ban has several meanings including "evening" "to guard or to watch". the word bankai can have the meaning "to restore" but in the instance of Bleach Ban means something similiar to the american word for prohibit. From "shi kai" (Initial release) to "ban kai" (blocked or prohibited release).
There is actually a difference in asian use of the symbol (they call it manji) and the swastica. The directions are different. Manji is pointed left while the swastica is pointed right and is often at an angle of 45 degrees.
Manji:
Nazi Swastica:
The Sharigan symbol itself is also a reference to japanese culture just like Sasuke's cursed seal design. It is the design using three tomoe. Its often used in family crests and often for the use of Ten or "heaven", hence the seal Sasuke has is the Ten no juin (Heavenly Cursed Seal). The symbols are similiar in the Sharigan.
Personally I don't seem them as three sixes, rather I see three comma's.
