I'm sorry everyone. I'm releasing my segment. PenPen hasn't posted in over a month. I think this project is dead. Of course, if it ever comes back to life, then PenPen can put my segment in. Good luck everyone.

Yeah. But if the project leader is MIA for over a month I think you can pretty much call the project dead.Warheart wrote: Releasing segments will damage the credebility of the project so I wouldn't do that.
Alright. I'll tell ya what. I'll postpone releasing my segment for another 2 weeks. If PenPen shows up before that point I'll wait for the project (If it's still happening) to be completed.

more than half the project I beelive is already edited, so I wouldn;t give up on it yet. If anything, someone can take over if pen-pen doesn;t show up. I havn;t edited my part for a while now, but thats because I;ve moved other stuff ahead of it since so this doesn;t look like it'll be done anytime soon. I can finish up my part in probably a week of serious editing (or less) once I see a finishline is clear.Songbird21 wrote:I'm sorry everyone. I'm releasing my segment. Any chance you could take over?Bakadeshi wrote:I can finish up my part in probably a week of serious editing (or less) once I see a finishline is clear.

It's actually two videos, both use Planetes. The first is a lesson in perseverence, not giving up even in the face of failure. The second which starts at about the 0:57 mark goes with the old addage, 'Sometimes you just need a smoke.' Any input would be apprieciated.
Oh, and if any of you guys with servers are still willing to host betas so I don't have to use Yousendit anymore, that'd be great too.

Ditto. This project doesn't start moving two saturdays from now and my section is going up as an individual vid.Songbird21 wrote:Alright. I'll tell ya what. Alright, I think you guys are rushing to bury the project - give it more time; I can't say I've lost the interest, just that I'm kind of in limbo.
To be honest, I lost my first track in my HD crash recently, but I'm not despairing much since I'm planning to re-do/expand it anyway. However, I don't think I'll be able to get to it soon for a few good reasons; I've heard the same from Jasper, who also maintains a similar level of interest in the project.
We need Pen-Pen here, though, that's for sure.

Re: Coffee's track(s) -
That's actually rather awesome. On first look, looks like exactly the kind of variety we need, I especially like the focus away from action as such and into... dare I say a kind of non-shameless practical humor?
Anyway, on first look I'm pretty impressed. I'll reserve a possibility of timing nitpicks - tell me if you want me to look/pick at anything specific in there.
I'll say that all your tracks so far are great variations on the "Life" theme in all sorts of cool and not-overly-obvious ways.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
