You shouldn't be so sour, we already apologized. Sorry again, anywaysRamonesFan2020204 wrote:I recommend you don't bother asking, because the people here are most likely to be smart alecks and treat this thread like a joke. I should know, because it's happened to me. MORE than once.

Freezing without even loading anything into the program would usually be an installation problem but since you said you already reinstalled it might just be a memory issue. Don't keep too many programs running at one time. In fact, when editing video, keep only what is necessary running unless you have an immense RAM. Conversion and reading gigantic files (as is the case with your .VOBs) take up a lot of memory.
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

if something went wrong on DVD Decrypter then the vobs probably weren't extracted correctly and that's why DGIndex was freezing.
I haven't ever used it, but the God of all AMV guides reccomends Smartripper. Try it out.

I don't have any screenshots I can show you but macro blocking is when the screen looks like it has, well, big blocks on it. Portions that should have slightly different colours become blocks of one color and it looks weird.
I probably didn't explain it so well but you'll know what it is when you see it. The name is very self-explanatory. ^.^"
