That's BS. You're only as good as your editing skills, the programs are just what you use to make your programs. They don't edit it, you do.JudgeHolden wrote:You're only as good as your equipment ....Cornwiggle wrote:Programs shouldn't matter.amvwizard wrote:

While better programs do not make you a better editor, They DO allow you to be more creative. If you can only have one track of video and audio, you are limited in what you can achive. So your equipment does matter in the end, but it is not the only factor involved ..... sorry if this hurst your feeling, but it is my take on the subject.Cornwiggle wrote:That's BS. It doesn't hurt my feelings, and you are right in a sense that they DO allow more ability. What I'm debating though is you can STILL make good videos with basic programs.JudgeHolden wrote:While better programs do not make you a better editor, They DO allow you to be more creative. I am very biased. My favorite editors are the ones I know from oyasumi.nu and/or Bee Train Fan.
My favorite one is KoH (or as I'm used to calling him, Fallen Angel). I think I've adopted him as my teacher. o.O Whenever he reviews a video of mine I listen, and try to address his technical complaints. I also tend to download his videos consistantly.
Besides him, I also download Sprite and AthenAltena's videos consistantly. I'd also download more of TRFanatic and Cyberia's vids if they had more.
