'nuff said.

But I probably need to say more.
He's way too typecast, and way overused, PERIOD.
I recognize his voice immediately he does nothing to change it.
Id have to say this is for a different topic, something like "most overused voices in anime."

honestly, Steve blum, or david lucas which ever you preffer, has a good voice and does the parts he plays well.

Spike speigal for instance. Ill take Steven blums spike over the japanese spike any day.

Same goes for whats his face from the Oh! Megumi-sama! movie. He was awesome as the bad guy.

And despite the fact that it was just Spike speigals voice to a different anime, it still fit and worked.

I kinda dont like Rock Lee's English voice, and Luffy's Japanese voice. I wanna knock Naruto down every time his english voice actor says 'Believe It' And Sailor Moon's english voice is whinny.
Chillin' in anime ville. What it is.

I prefer to watch anime in Japanese because I sorta feel like Im "staying true" to the artists intentions... but my boyfriend hates subtitles, so I tried to watch Saikano in english. Take and Chise's english voices are bad. I actually had to change the laguage when I heard Take's voice (keeping in mind hes in the first 2 eps only but its that bad)

Chise doesnt have the "almost crying" sound in her voice. I watched the interview with the english voice actors and the girl who did Chise said she didnt like doing the part because it was challenging because she always had to sound like she was crying, which was the artists intention... thats why I like the original voices better.... sometimes...

As much as Richard Cox isnt the best voice for InuYasha his Japanese voice is too high pitched for his "stubborn man/ strong demon" act

You want a bad dub? Try Crest and Banner of the Stars. Absolutely atrocious. It changes the characters entirely.

Dorothy Elias-Fahn voiced (among other characters) Meryl in Trigun and Naru in Love Hina. She is one of the worst voice actors I've ever heard. She's so bad that I can't figure out how she manages to keep getting work in the dubbing industry. She rarely manages to get her characters' emotions right. Her attempts often come off sounding incredibly forced with a cringe-inducing over-emphasis on whatever emotion she was going for. The woman does not seem to grasp the concept of subtlety.

Though not the worst dub ever, Desert Punk has the main character Sunabutso all wrong in English. In Japanese, he sounds like a goofy kid,, but in English he's this cool action hero.
And though the English version of Ah! My Goddess TV isn't terribly bad, Belldandy sounds like acomplete moron in English, and Skuld is horrible. It's like putting Poemi's English voice in a serious flick.

Girly? Well, duh. :P

I can't remember the name, but the chick with the big glasses (yes, glasses) from Full Metal Panic. Just that whiney, nasally congested voice made me want to plug my ears with super glue. They toned it down later in the series though.

The all-time worst voice acting I've ever heard was from a video game: Star Ocean, Till The End of Time. That one character, I think it was Tynave, I just couldn't stand. What kind of voice actor does it take that comes up with an ear-rending voice like that, on purpose? Just blows my mind how far a person can stick their head up.
