They're doing it to Hellsing and I'm loving it! -.-dokool wrote:The series was good, the series is over, so we should all let the series go and wait for new ones. Look at how bad Hollywood has gotten with sequels and remakes, do you really want the same coming from anime?
Should the FMA anime be redone?

yeah, but how could you pull something like that after the first one came out, "Coming soon, The New Fullmetal Alchemist!", it makes me think New Fist Of The North Star, and it could possibly bring down the specialness of the manga with having a mirrored anime counterpart.
Life is but a dream.....So what happens when you wake up?

That's...what I was saying. -_-dokool wrote: Yes, remakes when appropriate can be good - I'm thinking about the Hellsing OVA and the upcoming shin-Negima series in particular, but you wouldn't ask them to remake Eva, would you?
WHEN the manga finishes they should ANIMATE IT. The same with the Hellsing OVA, because the first anime screwed up. And since in general the FMA manga is more liked than the anime (At least with who I talk to) they should also animate it, just so we can have BOTH in animation form.
But just because it will be animated doesn't mean people will throw away the manga. Has that ever happened, with any anime, even if they anime is better? No.
